Cách sử dụng từ “Enough”

1. “Enough” được dùng với tính từ và trạng từ.

“Enough” đứng sau tính từ và trạng từ, sau “enough” là một động từ nguyên thể có “To”

S + tobe + adj + enough + (for SB) + to infinitive

S + V + adv + enough + (for SB) + to infinitive

Note: SB là tân ngữ (O)

Ex:                  I am old enough to drive a motorbike.

                      The weather is warm enough for us to go swimming

                      He runs fast enough to catch the bus.

Dạng phủ định:
S + tobe not + adj + enough + (for SB) + to infinitive

S + don’t/doesn’t/didn’t +V + adv + enough + (for SB) + to infinitive

Ex:                  I am not old enough to drive a motorbike.

                       The weather is not warm enough for us to go swimming.

                       He doesn’t run fast enough to catch the bus.

2.  “Enough” cũng được dùng với danh từ. 

Khi đó “enough” đứng trước danh từ.

S + V + enough + noun + (for SB) + to infinitive

Ex:                  He has not enough money to buy that bike.

                      I have enough books to study.

                      There are enough books in the library for us to read.
